PetsPAC will concentrate on state legislatures and agencies. Most pet, veterinary and animal health issues and controversies occur in the states, not Washington, DC. PetsPAC will provide issue advocacy and social media support for state legislative and agency actions, and where necessary, will make campaign contributions to deserving candidates who are serious about protecting pets, veterinary and animal health issues. In order to be able to support state candidates in states where corporate contributions are prohibited, we have established a PetsPAC (federal) that accepts only contributions from individuals, not businesses or corporations.
PetsPAC is able to receive contributions from non-veterinarians and veterinarians alike, plus PetsPAC-TN may receive direct corporate contributions.

PetsPAC will reach out to pet owners on a regular basis as part of its mission, through social media and grassroots outreach tools, to harness pet owner passion and interests in issue management with state legislatures and agencies.
PetsPAC will actively engage supporters/members with quarterly updates, webinars, analysis/data, direct contact with lawmakers and real-time engagement.
In one year as many as 3200 bills are introduced in state legislatures around the country with an impact on pets, veterinarians, animal health and animal welfare.
